This box is made of Shedua with a padauk inlay on the side and a padauk lid. The eye of the rat is in the padauk, making it red so it looks sinister. The shellac finish gives a great shine. What is the history that causes this creature to show a clan's colors?

This box is "skinny". Our normal boxes will hold a card in a protective sleeve. However, while this box was being made the jig wiggled and it came out a little short. A regular card will fit in it fine, just not in a full-length sleeve. But rather than throw this nice piece away, if you don't use sleeves you can get a great box at a fantastic price.
